A/N Fittings in this category are a newer, 2-piece-per-connection design machined in aluminum and have the same dimensional characteristics as their counter parts listed elsewhere on the site.

 

These were incorporated for their "ease of construction" in the smaller sizes. You do not have to be a surgeon to assemble them. In both the Elbow and Straight configuration assemblies, the correct scale elbow wire is machined onto the Chamfered nut which removes assembly headaches from older design. It is left short for the Straight connections and machined longer for the Elbow connections and then pre bent to 90 degrees (close anyhow, not quite a science yet, done by hand). The only drawback to this design is that the Elbow and Straight connections must be sold separately as you cannot change their configuration. Straight connections end with an "ST" designation and the Elbow connections end with an "E". All fittings ending with an "A" at the end of the part number will be pre anodized red and blue as shown. This anodizing is hard cased (not painted) and very durable. Hex size is across the flats.
